The Client Bill of Rights
At Daily Devotion Home Care, receiving assistance should never mean surrendering your autonomy. We believe care is a privilege, and we hold ourselves to a standard that treats you as a whole person, never a task to complete, nor a diagnosis to manage.
As a client of Daily Devotion, you hold the absolute right to:
I. Dignity & Personal Identity
- Be Known as a Whole Person: You have the right never to be reduced to a line item on a schedule. Your life history, quirks, preferences, and personality will always be honored.
- Maintain Your Independence: You have the right to do what you can and want to do for yourself. Our job is to support your remaining abilities, never to strip away your autonomy.
- Receive Unhurried, Intentional Care: You have the right to care provided with true presence. You deserve a caregiver who listens, observes, and understands that meaningful support cannot be rushed or reduced to a checklist.
- Make the Most of Each Day: You have the right to a partner who helps you find joy, comfort, and purpose in your daily routines, making each day as fulfilling as possible.
II. Respect for Your Sanctuary
- Privacy and Sanctity of Home: You have the right to absolute privacy. Your physical environment, personal space, belongings, and boundaries will be treated with the utmost reverence.
- Compassionate Communication: You have the right to be spoken to, and spoken about, with genuine warmth, patience, and adult-to-adult respect.
- A Safe, Judgment-Free Harbor: You have the right to feel completely secure and valued in your own home, surrounded by an environment free from judgment, pressure, or condescension.
III. Trust & Accountability
- Dependable, Elite Standards: You have the right to exceptional, reliable support from professionals who are strictly screened, highly trained, and compensated to care.
- Be Heard Without Fear: You have the right to voice concerns, ask questions, or request changes to your care team at any time. Your feedback will always be met with swift action and respect.
